Napa Valley residential work tends toward two extremes: meticulous wine-country estates with multiple structures on one property, and post-fire rebuilds where speed, code compliance, and emotional sensitivity all matter at once. Both call for the same fundamentals — a project manager who owns the schedule, in-house trades for the load-bearing decisions, and finish-quality that reflects the architectural intent.

The hardened-envelope requirements that came out of the 2017 fires are now baseline. Class A roofing, ember-resistant venting, multi-pane fenestration, and ignition-resistant exterior assemblies aren't upgrades anymore — they're the starting point of any responsible Napa build.

Do you work in Napa Valley wine-country properties? +
Yes. Wine-country residential work is one of our specialties — main house renovations, guest casitas, custom cabinetry, outdoor entertaining spaces, pool houses. We coordinate the full scope rather than treating each as a separate project.
What about Napa County's specific permitting? +
Napa County and the city building departments (Napa, St. Helena, Calistoga, Yountville) each have their own quirks. Hillside, agricultural-overlay, and watershed-protection ordinances all factor in. We pull and manage all permits and coordinate with planning where design review is required.
Are you familiar with post-fire rebuilds in Napa? +
Yes. We've worked alongside families rebuilding after the 2017 and 2020 fire seasons. The current Napa code requires hardened envelopes, ember-resistant detailing, and rigorous defensible-space landscaping. We build to that standard.
