Knob-and-tube replacement, copper updates, panel-to-fixture re-runs, GFCI/AFCI compliance throughout.

Service & panel upgrades

100A → 200A → 400A service. Smart panels (SPAN, Lumin) when they fit the use case.

EV charger installs

Tesla, ChargePoint, JuiceBox. Dedicated circuit, permit, PG&E coordination for service-side work.

Recessed & decorative lighting

LED downlights, picture lights, cove lighting, exterior. Designed in layers, dimmer-matched.

Outdoor & landscape lighting

Path, accent, deck, dock. Low-voltage transformers sized correctly so it stays beautiful at year ten.

Audio integration

Sonos, in-ceiling speakers, distributed audio. Wired during framing, controlled from the same Lutron keypad.

Permits & inspections

We pull electrical permits and handle inspections with Marin County and city building departments.

What is a Lutron smart home, and is it worth it? +
Lutron is the gold-standard residential automation platform — lighting, shades, climate, audio, and security all controllable from one app or in-wall keypads. It's the difference between flipping seven switches in a room and tapping one scene called 'Movie Night' that dims everything correctly. For homes you'll be in for years, the daily quality-of-life improvement is significant.
Do I have to gut my house to add Lutron? +
No. Lutron's RadioRA and Caseta product lines are wireless and retrofit cleanly into existing homes — no walls opened. For new construction or full remodels, we hard-wire a more capable system (HomeWorks). We'll match the right tier to the project.
Do you handle just the smart home, or full electrical? +
Both. We're a licensed electrical contractor first — service upgrades, panel swaps, EV chargers, recessed lighting, code compliance, knob-and-tube replacement. The Lutron specialty is on top of that, not instead of it.
Can you integrate with what I already have? +
Often, yes. Existing Sonos, Apple HomeKit, Nest, Ring, and Crestron systems can usually be wired into Lutron with the right bridge. We'll audit what you have on the first walk-through and map a path that doesn't make you replace gear that's working.
Do you do EV charger installs? +
Yes. Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, JuiceBox, NEMA 14-50 outlets — we run the dedicated circuit, pull the permit, and coordinate with PG&E for any service-side upgrades.
